Jtec HCM provided program management, project management and construction management services for the $840M John Muir Medical Center Replacement and Modernization project.
FACILITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
Jtec HCM continued work on JMH campus projects for 15+ years. Early in the initial design phase, Jtec HCM was retained to assess and evaluate the project’s existing design, budgets, schedules, and management processes for this multi-phased project. Our findings and recommendations were presented to the Hospital’s Board of Directors and Jtec HCM was awarded the contract to provide owner representation for program management, project management and construction management services for all facility development projects, including:
Walnut Creek phase IV
Walnut Creek Central Utility Plant
Concord campus tower
Administrative offices
Parking structures
Children’s pediatric ICU
Clinics and clinical labs
Emergency department relocations
Numerous small campus upgrades
Jtec HCM provided continual coordination of the entitlement process, design management, constructability and quality control reviews, equipment planning and procurement, scheduling, and budget control, coordination of plan approvals by City, County and HCAI, bidding, construction management, procurement, post occupancy, commissioning, and licensing activities. Jtec HCM worked closely with the internal John Muir facilities/construction management staff.
