Campus Transformation Project

Jtec HCM provided program through post-occupancy project management and construction management services for the $1.3B campus transformation project at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

This project includes a new 16-story, 894,000 sf hospital replacement tower with 480 new beds, renovation of the existing facilities, new parking garage, site work, seismic upgrades to the existing facilities, a new campus entrance, expansive landscaping, and repair and upgrade of major utilities.

This project was multi-phased with delivery methods including: design-assist and design/build through a quasi-IPD process.

Jtec HCM saved the owner over $90M working collaboratively with the design and construction team. This project was the first hospital in the state of California to be approved by HCAI (formerly OSHPD) with a base-isolation structural system.
