Jtec HCM has a long history working with Stanford Health Care. Starting in 2001, Jtec HCM was responsible for several conversions of existing space into new clinics. More recently, Jtec HCM has been providing staff augmentation services to Stanford Health Care to support their Office of Facilities Planning and Management. In this role, Jtec supplements this department providing comprehensive project management and construction management services on various projects. Below are recent project assignments.

LUCILE PACKARD CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL 5TH FLOOR BUILD-OUT

Jtec HCM provided construction management services for the 5th Floor build-out of the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. This expansion adds approximately 56 new beds, and the facilities were designated for oncology and stem cell treatments, as well as to treat children with immunity challenges. This complex project has involved extensive coordination of systems including HVAC, med gas, and other mechanical, electrical and communications systems.

PEDIATRIC OUTPATIENT CLINIC

This project was a conversion of the existing two-story office building to an outpatient pediatric clinic. In total, 30,000 SF were remodeled and upgraded to OSHPD 3 levels. The scope included a complete seismic upgrade of the structure, code upgrades to life safety systems, and replacement of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. ADA upgrades were made to the entire building including the addition of an elevator. Exterior upgrades included: façade refurbishment, landscaping and site work. Jtec HCM’s responsibilities included: constructability and quality control reviews, equipment planning and procurement, scheduling, and budget control.

HOOVER PAVILION

Jtec HCM provided comprehensive project management and construction management services for the seismic upgrade of the Hoover Pavilion. This historic building was one of the first components to the Stanford Health Care system. The building today houses medical offices and clinical support facilities.
