Jtec has provided project oversight on many projects for Stanford University. Commencing with the Hoover Building, Jtec was managed the seismic upgrade for this office and clinical support facility.

Jtec then went on to handle the conversion of an existing two-story office building to a clinic. This project included seismic upgrades, code upgrades to life safety systems, and the complete replacement of MEP systems. ADA upgrades were also made to the entire building. Exterior upgrades included façade refurbishment, landscaping and site work. Jtec provided constructability and quality control reviews, equipment planning and procurement, scheduling, and budget control.

Jtec’s work on the construction phase of the addition to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford University includes all aspects of construction management staff augmentation services including review of change orders and claims; contractor negotiations; responding to contractor RFIs; schedule review; monitoring progress of construction and quality assurance measures; advising the University on strategies to avoid potential delays/claims and assisting in resolving design and construction problems.

In addition, Jtec has provided, for over five years, program and project management services for all mechanical, central refrigeration, plumbing, and medical gas systems as well as selected electrical-rated projects at Stanford’s Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.
