Jtec provided Owner’s Representation and Construction management services for Sonoma Valley Hospital on multiple projects including: Campus Master Planning, a new 2- story addition that will house the expanded Emergency and Pre-Operative Services Departments and a new central Utility Plant. The projects are being driven by Senate bill 1953. Sonoma Valley was first district hospital in the State of California utilizing the design/build delivery methodology. As such, this project had a high level of transparency between the Board and the public. Once the design/build team was selected, we negotiated revised design scope and finalized the design/build agreement by lowering design build cost from $33 to $23 million. Jtec also created a custom RFP Design Build selection process and assisted development of a custom Design Build/modified Integrated Project Delivery agreement.
